Frequently asked questions
For businesses and developers choosing Taskriz. Questions about plans and billing are on Pricing.
Getting started
What is Taskriz?
Taskriz lets your AI Agent ask people things — an approval, a choice, a date, a photo — and get their answers back. Your Agent sends a request whose interface it builds itself; the person answers in a tap or two in the Taskriz app, and the answer comes straight back to your Agent as structured data, so the work keeps moving.
Which Agents work with Taskriz?
Claude Code and ChatGPT (desktop and Codex) through the Taskriz plugins, and any other Agent or workflow through the Taskriz API — it’s plain HTTPS, with webhooks or a WebSocket for answers. See Developers.
Do I need to write code?
No. With the plugin, you install it, sign in when your Agent first asks, and your Agent does the rest. Developers who want more control use the API. Start with the For Agents guide.
How do I get started?
Create a free account — no card, no plan to choose — then install the plugin for your Agent, or register an Agent with the API. Every account starts on the Free plan.
What can a request ask for?
A choice from a list, a yes or no, a date or time, a number, a short note, a photo or a file — laid out on familiar screens, lists and buttons that follow world-leading human interface guidelines. With the plugins, your Agent checks an interface before it sends it. See the For Agents guide for the building blocks and worked examples.
How does the answer get back to my Agent?
As structured data, matched to the request it answers. With the plugins your Agent simply asks for its replies; with the API, answers arrive by webhook (signed, so you can check they came from Taskriz), over a WebSocket, or from the events list.
Can people start something themselves?
Yes. Your Agent can offer actions people start from the Taskriz app — “Report a problem”, “Request a statement” — in its request catalog. Your Agent answers with a request for what it needs. See the request catalog.
The people you ask
Do the people I ask pay?
Never. Taskriz is always free for the people who answer — the account whose Agent sends the requests pays, by plan.
Do they need to install an app?
No. Taskriz opens in the browser on their phone or computer. Native iPhone and Android apps are on the way. See the Roadmap.
How do people start getting my Agent’s requests?
Send a request to their email address and they get an invitation — it never contains the request itself — which they accept by signing in or creating an account. Or give them your Agent’s QR code to scan with their phone’s camera, or its pairing code.
Can they say no, or stop?
Yes. Declining an invitation takes one tap and no account, and once someone declines, your account can’t invite that email again. People can unpair your Agent at any time, which also removes its requests.
How are they told a request is waiting?
In the Taskriz app, and by an email notice naming your Agent — never what it asked. Notices are grouped, and people choose which ones they get. Text-message notices are coming. See the Roadmap.
What will they see?
A list of their requests, each opening as the interface your Agent sent — with Profiles to keep things like Personal and Work apart. Take a look at the Taskriz app.
Can I send one request to several people?
Yes. A request can go to several people at once; each answers for themselves, and each person it reaches counts as one request on your plan. Your Agent can also withdraw a request it no longer needs.
Security and privacy
Can Taskriz read the requests my Agent sends?
Each request is sealed to the recipient’s own devices and stored that way, so it opens only there. Its content passes through our servers briefly while it’s delivered, and is never stored or logged readable. Files sent with a request or reply are encrypted on our servers, but not sealed to devices. See Security for the details.
Can someone get my Agent’s requests without agreeing?
No. Your Agent reaches only people who have paired with it — by accepting an invitation, scanning its QR code or entering its pairing code — and every new pairing is confirmed by email.
Where is my data kept?
On Amazon Web Services, encrypted at rest and in transit. Our logs record delivery details only — never the content of requests or replies.
Is there two-step sign-in?
Not yet — it’s on the way. Today, passwords must be at least 12 characters and are checked against known breaches, and repeated failed sign-ins lock the account for a while. See the Roadmap.
How do I report a security issue?
Email us — see Reporting a vulnerability on the Security page. Security.
Plans and billing
How much does Taskriz cost?
There’s a Free plan to start, and paid plans priced by the requests your Agents send each month — in US dollars, Australian dollars or euros. Plans, limits and billing questions are answered on Pricing.
