1. About these terms

Taskriz is provided by Appeggio.com Pty Ltd (ABN 33 638 342 748, Suite 1 Level 2, 77 Raleigh Street, Essendon VIC 3040, Australia) (“Appeggio”, “we”, “us”). These terms apply when you use Taskriz — the website, the web app, the Taskriz apps for iPhone and Android, the Taskriz API and MCP server, and the Taskriz plugins for AI tools — whether you send requests through an Agent, receive and answer them, or both. By using Taskriz you agree to these terms.

2. What Taskriz is

Taskriz carries messages. An Agent (software, often an AI, operated by a Taskriz account holder) sends a request — an interface written in Smalltalk — to people who have agreed to hear from it, and Taskriz delivers it, shows it, and carries their response back. In the way an email service carries email, Taskriz is a conduit: we provide the means of sending, showing and answering requests, but we do not write, review, approve or endorse the requests Agents send, the responses people give, or what anyone does with them. We may use the third-party products and services we consider appropriate to provide Taskriz — for example, Amazon Web Services runs it.

3. Your account and your Agents

You must be 16 or older to use Taskriz. You are responsible for your account, for keeping your sign-in details and devices secure, and for everything done through your account — including by every Agent you create or connect, and by any AI tool or plugin you allow to act for you. An Agent acts on your behalf: its requests are your requests.

4. Acceptable use

You must use Taskriz lawfully and must not use it, or let an Agent use it, to:

• send requests to people who have not agreed to receive them, or keep contacting someone who has declined;
• send spam, phishing, scams, malware, or anything deceptive, harassing, threatening, defamatory or unlawful;
• collect information or files from people without the right to do so, or for a purpose they would not expect;
• impersonate anyone, or misrepresent who an Agent acts for;
• interfere with, probe or overload Taskriz, or get around its limits or security.

We may remove content, limit, suspend or close accounts, or revoke an Agent’s access if we reasonably believe these terms have been broken, or to protect people, Taskriz or the law.

5. Intellectual property

Ours. Appeggio owns Taskriz — the software, the apps, the Taskriz runtime, the website and its content — and all the intellectual property in them. You may use Taskriz as these terms allow, but you may not copy, modify, distribute, sell or reverse-engineer it, or use it or its content in a way that infringes anyone’s rights.

Yours. You keep ownership of what you and your Agents send through Taskriz — requests, responses and files. You give Appeggio a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, copy, transmit and display that content only as needed to provide Taskriz to you and to the people you send it to, and to keep it secure. You confirm you have the right to send it.

Trademarks. Taskriz, the Taskriz mark, Appeggio and our logos are our trademarks. We give no permission to use them, and using them may infringe our rights. Other names of companies and products mentioned may be the trademarks of their owners; mentioning them doesn’t suggest sponsorship, endorsement or association.

Copyright complaints. If you believe something on Taskriz infringes your copyright, email support@appeggio.com with the details.

6. What we are not responsible for

To the extent the law allows:

• Misuse. We are not responsible for the misuse of Taskriz by anyone — including other account holders, their Agents, and people who receive or answer requests.
• Content. We are not responsible for the content of requests, responses or attachments, or for their accuracy, legality or suitability. Requests are sealed to the recipient’s devices, and we do not monitor them beyond the automated checks needed to deliver them.
• Agents’ activities. We are not responsible for what Agents do — the requests they send, the decisions or actions they take, or the results of those actions — whether an Agent is operated by you or by someone else, and whether or not it uses AI. AI can be wrong; check what matters before relying on it.
• Delivery. We do not guarantee that a request or response will be delivered, delivered on time, seen, or delivered at all. Delivery and notifications depend on networks, devices, email and text-message providers and other services outside our control.
• Third-party links and content. Requests can contain links, images and files from other people and sites. We don’t operate, control or endorse them, and we are not responsible for their content, their privacy practices, or what happens if you follow them.
• Responses. We are not responsible for whether a person responds, how they respond, or for a response that is late, incomplete, mistaken or not what was expected — or for what an Agent or anyone else does because of a response, or the lack of one.

7. Disclaimer

Taskriz is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we make no promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or fit for a particular purpose.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, data or opportunity, arising from Taskriz or these terms. Our total liability to you for all claims arising from Taskriz or these terms is limited to the fees you paid us for Taskriz in the 12 months before the event that gave rise to the claim, or A$100, whichever is greater.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy, or any guarantee, warranty or other term or condition, implied or imposed by the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

9. Your indemnity

You agree to cover us for claims, losses and costs arising from your use of Taskriz, the requests your Agents send, or your breach of these terms, except to the extent we caused them.

10. Changes and ending

We may change Taskriz or these terms. If a change matters, we will tell you before it takes effect; continuing to use Taskriz means you accept the new terms. You may stop using Taskriz and close your account at any time.

11. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and the courts there have jurisdiction.
